Waterbom Park in Kuta
The Waterbom Park in Kuta is settled on Jalan Kartika Plaza over the street by the Bali Garden Hotel and the Discovery Mall. While you prefer to get assured sport with the family than this is the place to go to in Kuta. Try to get here ahead of time in the morning, rather ahead 10 am as tickets are sold up promptly and I am not kidding.
The waterbom park has a capacity of 2000 guests merely particularly in July and August it makes full promptly. It is open from 9am to 6pm just same day re-entry is allowed. So you will be able to pick up the tickets in the morning whenever you like and go in that the afternoon when it suits you the most.
The waterbom park is a water park set in thirty-eight hectares of tropic garden with several attractions with names such smashdown, boomerang or superbowl, spa, restaurants and lounge areas for endless sunbathing or only relaxation.
So what may you require at this waterpark?
Almost of all require high-velocity water rides and dizzying slides that everyone in the family will enjoy. I’ve seen dads coming out of the slides with a big grinning on their faces and running against their children for as is water slide again.
Here I have listed the various attractions that you can expect:
The Superbowl
This one acts like a huge toilet bowl. You get yourself a big tube, climb the stairs and before you know it you whirl around like a turd in a bowl before you are spit out again in the pool.
The Boomerang
Here you get whooshed down a slide 20 meters in height and when you think you’ve had enough you are pushed up a huge wall before you come back to planet earth again. This is definitely one of the top attractions.
The Jungle Ride
Just like the name implies this is a ride through ‘the jungle’. From here you have perfect vistas on the park, quit a relaxing ride too.
Lazy River
When you’ve been washed away by either the Superbowl or the Boomerang than it’s time for some relaxed floating down the lazy river in a beautiful tropical setting that Bali is so famous for.
Raft River
Here you find yourself making 360 degrees turns through various curves until you get dropped of in the pool again.
Macaroni
Here you get swooshed down on your macaroni tubes while you can enjoy the tropical setting of indigenous flowers and plants all around you.
Smashdown
This is not for softies…Are you ready for 70 km/h down a 8-storey slide where you will also make a 60 degrees angle? This one gets to you and you want to climb the steps over and over just to feel the rush again. Fasten your swim wear though.
Here on the picture it’s the slide on the left.
Race track
This one is ideal when you want to race your friends or parents. There are two sharp drops here where you feel weightless for a second before you end up at ground level again. In the picture up here it’s the two slides on the right.
Boogie Ride
This one is similar to the race track where you can compete with your friends and family again. With 90 meters it’s a short course so get your take off right.
